The City of TRINIDAD

Trinidad was founded in 1514. It still retains the coblestone streets and pastel colored houses from Colonial times. The city was a major center for slaves and sugar. The buildings around Plaza Mayor show the wealth of the former landlords who were mostly sugar merchants..
